Today there is so much more on offer from flexible workspaces than just exposed brickwork. In 2016 we highlighted three of our top themed offices in the capital – here we have added more exciting spaces to dazzle your clients and set you apart from the competition.
Themed serviced offices stick in the mind for all the right reasons – and here’s our pick of London’s best…
The onsite restaurant and lounge that comes with this carefully restored 1950s building on Shoreditch High Street led to it being dubbed “Best Workspace for Foodies” by the Evening Standard.
Ideally suited to micro businesses (especially those in the creative and tech niches), it offers a range of private offices capable of seating up to six – as well as a big co-working area.
Why we love it:
Not only do residents get a 20% discount on the restaurant, they also get free admission to the exhibitions and talks that are regularly held within it.
This is a rather special workspace open to individuals and businesses of up to 24 people looking to become part of East London’s micro-business community.
The collective behind it have sought to build a community where individuals and businesses can flourish, hence the emphasis on soothing resting spaces, roof garden – and even an indoor herb garden.
Why we love it:
This space shows that keeping it simple can often result in a pleasing and memorable environment. Both fixed and flexible workstations are available – and Victoria Park is just nearby.
The ambiance in this prestige serviced office on Brick Street puts you in mind of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
A stunning art deco staircase sweeps down to the ground floor, where you’ll also find a grand piano. Architects, Peldon Rose have also installed a 1920s-style glass atrium, finishing the look beautifully, while allowing light to flood into the space.
You can spoil yourself in the pamper room, retreat to an informal meeting area – or perhaps even the rooftop terrace and when it’s time to impress clients, you can do so in one of the building’s exquisitely decorated meeting rooms.
Why we love it:
This space offers the perfect blend of 5-star luxury, up-to-date facilities and lots of character – along with, of course, that impressive W1 postcode. There’s also the option of back office support if you need it.
What will your next office tell the world about your business? For impartial help, explore what’s out there with DeVono.
"We appointed DeVono because we knew they would care and take the trouble to understand our business, our objectives and help us deliver on our commitment to our clients and our people. The outcome of the process has been entirely positive and surpassed all of our expectations. We would always choose to work with DeVono."
"With the myriad tools available to brokers, for me, the key ingredient to a successful partnership is how acutely our needs are heard and translated into action. The entire team at DeVono deciphered our ambitions with patience, pragmatism and good humour. Not only did they present options that answered the questions I had, they provided alternative directions informed by their local expertise, which, being based in the USA, was vital for me to be able to make solid, well-informed decisions. I would not hesitate to recommend."
"“We are delighted have found a home at Seven Dials Warehouse and commercial real estate framework that is not just fit-for-purpose now, it enables us space to grow in the future. DeVono has helped us to realise our ambition of providing a sustainable and ‘appropriate’ long term home for the business.”"
"I have worked with DeVono for many years. I value their approach – always looking at the big picture, not just the deal. They consider the real estate challenges we face through our eyes, understanding not just the real estate reporting requirements but also the complexity of our organisation’s structure and stakeholders. I’m always very happy to work with the team and value their support."
"Our experience with DeVono and you specifically could not have been better. It was a relief to have an expert negotiating on our behalf and, most importantly, sticking with a long and difficult assignment."
