The individual within this role is responsible for carrying out the full range of professional building surveying duties on commercial property to clients. Focus areas that will be expected from a Building Surveyor include: Receiving client instructions and liaising with clients throughout, Carrying out building surveys, giving summary advice and producing full written reports, Preparing, negotiating and agreeing schedules of condition and dilapidations, Contract administration, Carrying out feasibility studies and reinstatement cost assessments, Preparing and agreeing Party Wall awards, Management of fees, Client Cultivation and more. The role involves senior participation within DeVono's Occupier Advisory Group. The role is to advise clients on landlord and tenant matters, predominantly in the central London office market. The focus will be concentrated on rent reviews and statutory renewals for occupiers only. The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified with a minimum of 8 years PQE, with at least 5 of those years’ working within lease advisory in the London offices market, specifically on L&T matters. This role sits within DeVono’s new business team focusing on both the traditional leasehold and serviced office markets, targeting companies in London across all market sectors, ranging from SME’s to global corporates, operating in a highly competitive industry, involving, 100% new business, research calls into DeVono strong in-house database, lead qualification/generation from cold calls, skilfully presenting our inhouse services to clients at a senior level, management of new opportunities and allocating them to senior team members, 100% office based.
